    Luxury & Supercar Weekend 2017

The 8th annual Luxury & Supercar Weekend

The 8th annual Luxury & Supercar Weekend brought together a selection of some of the most stunning vintage and exotic cars. As one of Vancouver’s most anticipated event for any car fanatic, it is no surprise that this was the biggest one yet.

Kicking Off Luxury & Supercar Weekend

This event kicked-off at Inform Interiors on Friday, September 9th. Attendees were surrounded by great people, incredible cars, and delicious food. In addition, we also heard from Christopher Pagani about the new Pagani Huayra which was also showcased at Luxury & Supercar Weekend.

Part of the display at Inform Interiors were two of our masterpieces; the pinnacle of Italian taste and hand craftsmanship, the Huracán Spyder and the new Huracán Performante. The Huracán Performante has reworked the concept of super sports cars. Taking the notion of performance to levels never seen before. The vehicle has been re-engineered in its entirety, as regards its weight, engine power, and chassis. Finally, above all by introducing an innovative system of active aerodynamics: ALA. The combination of these modifications and the skilled work of the team at Lamborghini, took the bull to complete a lap at Nürburgring in 00:06:52:01. Therefore, setting a new record for best lap and becoming the fastest standard production car at the Shrine of Speed.

    The Weekend

The first day of Luxury & Supercar Weekend brought some unwelcome showers but that did not detract the dedicated car aficionados that wait for this weekend every year. Visitors to the Lamborghini Vancouver tent were greeted by fantastic espresso from Cafe Umbria as well as an accompaniment of Italian biscotti. Of course, it would not be complete without the stars of the show, five incredible Lamborghini’s on display. The first, Aventador S Coupé in Balloon White. Next, the Huracán Performante in Verde Mantis. Following this is the Huracán Coupé in Rosso Bia. Next, we have the Huracán Spyder in Giallo Inti. Finally, we have the Murcielago in Grigio Antares.

By the end of the day, the weather had cleared up and crowds rushed the grounds of Van Dusen Botanical Gardens to check out all the unreal cars on display.

The final day of Luxury & Supercar Weekend brought a bright blue, cloudless sky. With perfect weather, Sunday was even busier than the previous day and no signs of slowing down. The Lamborghini Collezione Pop-Up Shop was very busy with fans purchasing Lamborghini swag.

In sum, an incredible venue and fantastic cars contributed to the massive success of the 8th Annual Luxury & Supercar Weekend. Despite some quick showers the first day, this event was nothing but a triumph in our eyes. We are looking forward to checking out the new displays and cars next year! If you didn’t make it to this years Luxury & Supercar Weekend make sure you mark your calendars for the next one and keep an eye on www.luxurysupercar.com for updates.
